Discussion:
Dragging heart icon to an email sets a hyperlink with no URL in it?
(too old to reply)

When I attempt to add a link in my emails, by dragging the heart on
it, the link has "blank" as the title and no URL associated with it.

Has this happened to any one else and if so what causes this and how
do you correct it? It does not happen all the time I do this.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Why this is happening depends on a couple of things.
Where are the 'hearts' you are dragging into body
of the email to begin with? If they are on the upper
right corner of the very same email window, then
you aren't really "linking" to anything else other than
a 'blank' (work in progress) email. If they are to an
open web page, then the web browser window should
be the top most or at least make sure the open URL
is displayed in the URL window at top of AOL when
dragging the heart. If you are dragging a heart from
your 'favorite places' folder, try highlighting the
'favorite place', right click and choose 'Insert in email'
from context menu.

URL's are old hat, and are deemed unnecessary luggage on modern
Internet(tm)'s like AOL(tm).

Please use Keywords instead, which do not suffer the same problems.
